Nzinga Imani talked about the premiere of BET's Zatima Season 3, why she felt as though her character Angela was written for her to play, and working with Tyler Perry. She discussed starting musical theater in high school and majoring in it in college at Georgia State University. She got into when she started to live by her motto do it scared, when she decided to quit her job as a pre-school teacher to pursue an entertainment career, and working with Taye Diggs. She also spoke about becoming a model, breaking barriers in the plus size industry, and designing her own clothes for plus sized women that bridge the gap left out by larger corporations.
