Rania Awaad Muslim Central Dr. Rania Awaad M.D., is a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the Stanford University School of Medicine where she is the Director of the Stanford Muslim Mental Health & Islamic Psychology Lab as well as Stanford University’s Affiliate Chaplain. In the community, she serves as the Executive Director of Maristan.org, a holistic mental health nonprofit serving Muslim communities, and the Director of The Rahmah Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating Muslim women and girls. In addition, she is faculty of Islamic Psychology at Cambridge Muslim College and The Islamic Seminary of America.She is also a Senior Fellow for Yaqeen Institute and the Institute of Social Policy and Understanding. Prior to studying medicine, she pursued classical Islamic studies in Damascus, Syria, and holds certifications (ijaza) in the Qur’an, Islamic Law, and other branches of the Islamic Sciences. Mohammad Qutub Muslim Central Dr. Mohammad Qutub is an Islamic scholar with several decades of experience as a teacher and orator. Nadim Bashir Muslim Central Imam Nadim Bashir, a native of Florida, embarked on a transformative journey that led him to the vibrant DFW Metroplex during his early years. In 1989, at the tender age of 11, he embarked on an overseas odyssey, where his unwavering dedication led him to achieve a remarkable feat: the memorization of the entire Quran. His exceptional proficiency in reciting the Quran from memory soon became a well-known trait, earning him widespread recognition.Under the guidance of the esteemed Shaykh Abdur Rahman Patel, Imam Nadim commenced his Alim Course at Jamia Madinatul-Uloom in New Orleans, delving deep into the rich tapestry of Islamic knowledge. Seeking to further enrich his understanding of Islam, he embarked on a journey to Jamia Taalimul-Islam in Dewsbury, U.K. There, he immersed himself in rigorous study for several years, attaining Ijaazaat (certifications) in a multitude of Islamic disciplines. His expertise spanned Arabic, Fiqh (Jurisprudence), Hadith, Tafseer (Exegesis), Tajweed (Q Ahmad Saleem Muslim Central Shaykh Ahmad Saleem is a distinguished Islamic scholar known for his expertise in Tafseer (exegesis of the Quran) and Seerah (biography of the Prophet Muhammad). He has mastered the Arabic language and completed an in-depth study of the Quran, including its word-by-word analysis, under the tutelage of various esteemed scholars.
