It’s been a minute… It’s taken us a little time to come out of vortex that was the World of Coffee Expo, which was hosted in our city earlier this month. The time leading up to the convention and the actual convention dates took up a lot of our time + energy. Some of the busiest moments we’ve experienced and probably not just for us but for all the shops around San Diego. We made it out alive though and working on finding the balance of things again. Beyond grateful for all the connections + overall great energy that WOC brought to our tiny little shop. Taking a few moments on Pod to debrief on the entire WOC weekend alongside a few shop updates and ending things with a little rant 😱 These one star reviews are getting out of hand which is why I wanted to take a few moments to address. Seeing a big trend in people being assholes to staff and it just sucks. People need treat hospitality + service industry workers nicer, a little empathy + less entitlement can go a long way…right? Also → We finally upgraded our pod rig to interface with our Pocket Osmo 3 sans having to sync the audio in post production and that makes us very very happy :-) Expect some more content from our camp, hopefully less rants because we’re really just trying to make tasty drinks + play records.
