O Great Mover of Mountains – Morning Prayer in Ordinary Time

We are in a summer giving campaign! Would you sow towards the ministry of Morning Prayer? Celebrating the life and faith of Irenaeus, Bishop of Lyons, c. 202, in the Church Calendar. June 28, 2023. This week we are following the Daily Office lectionary with an episode Monday through Friday. Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. We’ll sing “Mover of Mountains” by Joanne Chantelau and me including a prayer of confession. We’ll read Psalm 85:8-13 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Scripture lesson is 2 Timothy 2:22-26 . We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day. We’ll then have a time of prompted prayer. If you have a prayer request please submit it here.
