Uma das medidas propostas no Orçamento do Estado para 2024 é um aumento no valor do Imposto Único de Circulação. Mas as críticas têm chegado por parte da população, da oposição e até dentro do próprio PS. O aumento deste imposto será destinado aos veículos com matrícula anterior a junho de 2007, que diz respeito a 3 milhões de automóveis e meio milhão de motociclos.
