Portugal vai cumprir a partir de hoje, quinta-feira, dia 24, e até sábado, dia 26, três dias de luto nacional em homenagem ao Papa Francisco. A decisão foi aprovada na quarta-feira em Conselho de Ministros. Depois de o Governo ter anunciado que não iria participar nas festividades relacionadas com o 25 de Abril, o ministro António Leitão Amaro, como voz do executivo, vem esclarecer que as cerimónias foram adiadas.  Agora, e em comunicado enviado às redacções, o gabinete do ministro da Presidência, Leitão Amaro, sublinha que o Governo "adiou para o dia 1 de Maio o evento festivo na residência oficial do primeiro-ministro". Ou seja, os jardins estarão abertos ao público no dia 25 de Abril, entre as 10h e as 17h, com a distribuição de cravos, mas sem festa e sem a presença de Luís Montenegro.
