O Shoot of Jesse

Series Title: Advent Antiphons Series Summary: In this advent season, we look at a series of passages from the book of Isaiah that are grouped together using the name O Antiphons, a ⁠latin term⁠ used in the ancient church where small bits of music (or refrains) are sung in the seven days leading up to Christmas Day when we celebrate Jesus birth. Passages: Isaiah 11:1-11 In this message, we're reminded that Jesus is our King from the shoot of Jesse, from what appeared to be utter destruction - the origin of his rule, the order of his reign and finally the outcome of his reign.
