OAPN #6: Developer Bounties

from Car: All Podcasts · host Car

In this episode, we relaunch the OpenAgents bitcoin bounty program, paying developers for high-quality additions to our codebases. We also give a tour of the OpenAgents product roadmap and talk through the bigger vision behind the stack we are building. The goal is not small. We want the OpenAgents product suite to become a real open alternative to what the big labs offer, especially Anthropic. Over time, that means building toward a drop-in replacement powered by open models, open infrastructure, our compute network, and the models we train ourselves, supplemented where appropriate by top frontier models. This episode covers where that roadmap is headed, how contributors can plug in, and why direct bitcoin bounties are one of the best ways to grow the network with real builders. If you want to help build open agent infrastructure and get paid in bitcoin, now is the time.
