OBCM SELFie 05142023

"Selfie" - 2013 word of the year of Oxford English Dictionary defined as : ''a photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically with a smartphone or webcam and uploaded to a social media website." Today's passage is taken from Luke 14:1-14 wherein we get to read about Jesus confronting a reality that not only was happening before but is still happening up to today- hypocrisy, a sense of entitlement, and selfishness. Today, we get to check our SELFie - ask ourselves, is Jesus confronting me on a sin I need to give up? Come and join us as we learn and talk about this in our continuing installment for our Series : At the Table, in our service today with the title : SELFie. #attheTABLEaplacetoGOGROWandGLOW #selfIe #ConsistencyGraceLove #aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers #itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday!
