Shalom means peace with your family, with the people around you and as it progresses, your relationship with God. But shalom could also mean a promise kept or a covenant maintained. Shalom can be attributed to our words, our actions, our attitudes, but primarily peace is a gift from God. Peace is a gift of God that we need to accept this Christmas.
