SUMMER BREAK | Week 2 “DIY god” - Exodus 32:1–8Waiting on God isn't easy. And when His timing doesn't match our expectations, we're tempted to take matters into our own hands. That's exactly what happened in Exodus 32. While Moses was on the mountain, the people grew impatient. Instead of trusting the God they couldn't see, they built a god they could control. The truth is, we may not have golden calves today; but we can still create modern idols out of comfort, success, relationships, money, approval, or even ourselves. When we stop trusting God, we start building one. This Sunday, we'll uncover the subtle ways our hearts drift toward counterfeit gods and rediscover why only the one true God is worthy of our trust and worship.#SummerBreak #DIYGod #Exodus32 #NoOtherGods #TrustGod #BreakTheIdols#aHeartthatbeatsforJesusbeatsforOthers#itisaONEBEATFamdayFundaySonday!
