Obedience and Faith Part 3

In this third message on obedience and faith, we learn that the children of Israel failed to believe God's promise for a promised land. As a result, they took forty year wilderness journey as God waited patiently for the next generation to rise up and fulfill His plan. Upon that generation's transition into the promised land, they were told to stand in front of two mountains as to the blessings upon obedience and curses that comes upon disobedience were read out loud. (Duet. 28) We are reminded in that listing to God and obeying Him brings blessings to us to the point that He causes those blessing to chase us down! Likewise, when we disobey God's word and refuse Him when He is speaking to us, we open the door for darkness and curses to come to our lives. While the temptation is great to give up on obeying God, the cost of it can be tragic. We need to stand in faith knowing that the fulfillment of His plan is going to come to pass but we must endure in obedience to receive it.Support the showFind more content at bolcf.org
