Thank you to Jason for commissioning this episode. While Jason is no longer with us, he's still a part of UNspoiled! and there is another episode coming up this week with his name on it. These chapters are really intense, which is true of all of them to a degree, but this one is particularly drastic. Nassun turns a corner here and decides to kill a whole fulcrum full of orogenes because she feels they're somehow damaged. The worst part is that she feels they're damaged in the exact way that her mother is damaged, which makes her actions even more heartbreaking and brutal. Meanwhile, Essun is struggling with the lessons she's taking from Alabaster to hook the obelisks from the sky to get the moon back. It's not going awesomely, and she's frustrated, but she gets a little distracted when an evil stone-eater shows up and rips Hoa apart.
