Observations: Our unqualified, incompetent savior

Some of Pope Francis’ pastoral moves, for example his making provision for the blessing of couples in irregular situations and same-sex couples, have drawn criticism and opposition from those who see this as deviation from precedent. However, the pope may actually be following the deeper precedent of Jesus.
