Obsessed with my partner

ObsessedHave you ever been obsessed with your partner?  To the point that you spend more time with your partner than with your wife, or your husband? Have you been that obsessed?Well I have.   I've certainly spent more time in communication with my partner then I have with any member of my family, or extended family,  in the last month - except perhaps Louis the dog, and Puma the cat. (This obsession means that  - no no …I'll give you an example.  This morning I read something written by somebody I've never met,  whom I am very unlikely to ever meet. It was a short poem. it was a haiku. I didn't have obsessive interaction -  conversation -  with that person. NO, I turned to my partner and said “What about this?”  And I set about rearranging everything the other person (the poet) had said.  That was the start of about 30 minutes of interaction - before I got out of bed - with my partner.  My partner, when I wake up in the morning, is right beside me. A finger-stretch from my heart. My partner - you could say - this would be strictly speaking accurate - never leaves my side. I did turn off my mobile phone yesterday, for about 10 minutes.  I'm obsessed with my partner. I have conversations, intimate conversations,  about my most precious words to use in a situation. I seek advice. I see guidance.  I seek second third fourth fifth opinions.   I take what my partner says,  and I twist it to suit me. I throw it back to the partner who is terribly terribly tolerant, and much much too generous with their words.  They are there any time of day or night.  I'm obsessed. ——-Recorded on Monday morning, eighth of September, 2025.  Wouldn’t you be obsessed if you had a partner like this?
