Obstacles and Opportunities

Acts:  Obstacles and Opportunities  Acts 27-28   WHEN IN ROME . . .   Don't let obstacles discourage you from sharing your faith story. God has a way of taking obstacles and turning them into opportunities. Make the most of every opportunity.   Be intentional about sharing your faith story. "After three days, he (Paul) called together the local leaders of the Jews . . . For this reason, therefore, I have asked to see you and speak with you, since it is because of the hope of Israel that I am wearing this chain."  Acts 28:17a, 20   Who will you invite to hear your story? What hope will you give them?   Pray that all who hear your faith story, and see your life, will respond in obedience to the gospel. " . . . lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them."  Acts 28:27b That they will hear the gospel. That they will see the gospel. That they will understand the gospel. That they will turn to Christ and be saved.   Tell your faith story courageously and freely. " . . . proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance."  Acts 28:31
