Occupy Till Come (Reward, Rebuke, or Retribution)

from The DCC Podcast · host Dayspring Christian Center

This week, Bishop Rodgers teaches from Luke 19:11-27 on the the topic "Occupy Till I Come." Jesus tells a story about a nobleman who traveled on behalf of the king. In the parable, Jesus tells us to "Do Business" on His behalf until His returned. The term occupy means diligent action, to walk, to set in motion, and to continue in motion. Every believer is called and gifted by Christ to serve. When Jesus returns, He will evaluate the stewardship of His servants. The parable involves three classes of people: (1) working servants, (2) nonworking servants, and (3) enemies. Which one are you? We pray as you listen to this powerful message, you will understand discipleship is costly. How will Jesus evaluate your service to Him? Have a safe and blessed week.
