Recently, President Joe Biden announced his plan to help fight the supply chain. These plans include turning ports into 24/7 operations. Shipping companies FedEx and UPS and Walmart also are expanding efforts to ease supply chain strain. Toledo City Council candidate profile - Ron Murphy. Murphy is a lifelong Toledoan who describes himself as a devoted Christian and loving family man. He says he believes in giving Toledoans a voice and pledges to bring "common sense back to government" and focus on the issues of corruption, crime, neglected communities and more. Toledo City Council candidate profile - Cerssandra McPherson. McPherson, who's currently serving on council, is a Toledo native and longtime educator with Toledo Public Schools. She touts her deep ties within the community and has been involved in the faith and labor communities for over 30 years. McPherson says she plans to reinvest in neighborhoods, increase youth engagement, and support local business.
