If you believe in anything of substance, your faith will be challenged by other denominations, religions, and cultural norms. The heart of Christianity has always been attacked from all sides. But our faith rests upon the only one who outlasts every power struggle, no matter what. Throughout the month of October we will see that the very things that set Christianity apart are what make it stand alone. This past Sunday's Focus: Are you enjoying the sumptuous banquet provided by your heavenly King, feasting on blessings that will delight you forever? Today Jesus demonstrates that what we have through faith in him is entirely God’s doing, so that each of us can praise God along with Martin Luther: “The Holy Spirit has called me by the gospel, enlightened me with gifts, sanctified and kept me in the one true faith!”
