I had a professor in college who used to stop from time to time and quip, “If I could get this concept into Fred’s head, I’d have it in a nutshell.” So it is no surprise that it took me this long to realize Deuteronomy 6:4 says: 4 “Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one! 5 “And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. Is a call to a relationship with the God of Moses, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The need for communication with our beloved holds sway in every true relationship.
