In the Summer of 1892, wealthy business owner, Andrew Borden and his wife, Abby were murdered in their home in cold blood - hacked to death by an axe. The primary suspect became their youngest daughter, Lizzie Borden. Although affluent in Fall River, MA, the Borden family went through its fair share of tragedy and dysfunction, all leading up to this point. After a year of investigation, being jailed, indicted and put on trial, all of the evidence pointed towards Lizzie being the perp, but to everyones shock, she was found innocent.
