‘Oddity’ Director Damian McCarthy

Writer/Director Damian Mc Carthy joins the show to talk about his supremely spooky — and fun — supernatural retribution horror movie ‘Oddity’ about possessed possessions and a creepy AF ‘Wooden Man’ creature. The film has been getting a lot of buzz — winning awards at South By Southwest and The Overlook Film Festival — and opens July 19 in theaters, and is coming soon to Shudder. Mc Carthy joins host Aaron Sagers to discuss his own horror movie upbringing, as well as the creepy setting of his home in West Cork, Ireland — and how his parents’ VHS video store shaped him. However, soon after the tragic killing, the suspect is found dead. A year later, Dani’s blind twin sister Darcy (also Bracken), a self-proclaimed psychic and collector of cursed items, pays an unexpected visit to Ted and his new girlfriend, Yana (Caroline Menton).
