WTMJ host Jeff Sherman is joined in-studio by Wisconsin’s Afternoon News host Julia Fello to discuss the future of I-794 that could be decided later in the following Spring. Coffee Index: Dunkin has raised its’ prices, and it’s barely less expensive than a local place. Jeff brought up the Park East Freeway removal when comparing the I-794 removal and speaking of coffee; Starbucks has changed its’ bathroom policy requiring people to pay for coffee before usage. Jeff Sherman was joined on the phone by Allie Boy’s Bagelry and Luncheonette owners and founders Staci Lopez and Ben Nerenhausen to give the Allie Boy’s story, opening in Milwaukee and more. -Jeff asked Ben and Staci about the baking process, opening a second location, the evolution of the bagel scene and their favorite bagel and topping combination. Jeff Sherman closed the show by talking about technology billionaires like Elon Musk and mark Zuckerberg, and the Securities Exchange Commission filing a federal complaint towards the X CEO; on the other side, Meta would be instituting layoffs for what the CEO called “intense year”.
