Of the Consecration of Christ - TFOL #7
from Calvary Classics · host Pastor Evan
This morning's devotional is from "The Fountain of Life" by John Flavel as we look at the 7th sermon based on John 17:19: 'And for their sake, I consecrate myself". In this wonderful sermon Flavel spends the first half meditating on the saving love of Christ in setting his heart upon his elect bride with specific intention, and the second half of the sermon focuses on how we should imitate this spirit in our holy devotion to our Bridegroom. If we are holy, then we can know that Christ was made holy for us, and for our salvation. May you find the love of Christ constraining you through this devotional! If you would like to follow along you can download a copy of the book for free from the following link: https://www.monergism.com/fountain-life-ebook.
