For me, making an effort for family visits used to be more about duty, but since becoming a parent, I now understand the huge value for both myself and my kids when we spend quality time with them. Eid gives us an opportunity to do that, but the bigger insight for me is that we don’t need to wait or have an excuse for big occasions to gather. Committing to regular time invested with family and grandparents in particular, is worth its value tenfold.In this unfiltered, improvised and off scripted episode, I share my personal insights that have and continue to shape who I am.
