Officer, suspect exchange gunfire during shooting in south Charlotte

A police officer and a suspect were hurt in a shooting after a traffic stop in south Charlotte.The shooting happened near the intersection of Arrowood Road and Nations Ford Road on Sunday around 7:30 p.m., according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
