TRANSCRIPT · AUTO-GENERATED

It's Thursday and there was a rat in the kids bathroom and when I say the kids my 28 year old son and his girlfriend who now Live with me. She walked in there and there was a rat in the toilet Holy cow, we'll talk about this Why does there have to be rats? I mean seriously? I mean, you know, okay They use them for testing to make makeup and drugs, but why does there have to be rats?

Can't there be something else and There's something plugged into my studio that wasn't there before and I didn't put it there And I don't know what it is and that's making me very nervous I'm the rat thing to totally stress me out. You want to know what what's axe girlfriend? Her name is Adrian You don't want to know what she did? Well, first of all, I called my favorite ex-wife I said there's I'm well, I'm not gonna say exactly the words I said because you know I was a little hyper and then I said yeah, anyway, she said take a pan This is my ex wife Diane got a lover so much.

We hung out today But anyway, she said take a pan with a lid scoop the thing up with the lid on take it outside and get rid of it So I said that and Adrian heard it and she said yeah, that's what she went and found a pan Then she hands my son's back up answers if he gets away from you have to catch him and Zach is saying if he gets away I'm gonna be on the roof. I mean, you know me too. I walked out I took my two cats and went out into the laundry room with my two cats and closed the door That's what I did. I that's exactly what I did Anyway, I'm grateful for Adjana because she is now my hero because she got rid of the rat She took the rat out into the middle of the street and it's screwed off across the street to go infest somebody else's house I would have said it on fire or something.

I just if you know me from radio and in some of you will and I think it was in 2007. Yeah, it was in 2007 in this house. I Had a ton of rats that just showed up over the period of about seven days until we figured out what was going on And I had my favorite ex-wife then and Zach was young then Zach was like, you know, 12 or something and we would go to bed at night We would lock our bedroom doors. We put towels down and I had glue boards glue boards I glue boards All over the floor in the kitchen because that's where the rats were coming out there coming out through the kitchen somehow We didn't know how and so every morning they were like rats dying on glue boards and my lovely ex-wife Diane would come over every morning before we woke up she had a key to the house she still has key to the house She would come in and get rid of the rats take them out throw them in the trash Okay, then we put new glue boards down and this went on them finally I had my friend Dougie come over figured things and we got everything figured out We found out how they were coming in through the sewer and working their way through it anyway.

It was a it was a mess It was an absolute mess, but through all of that I have gratitude to all of that I have I have I have I Did you know he's around it didn't kill the rat. I would kill the rat I want rats to die, you know I would let those little rat jump out and they get on the glue boards and I take them forever today and I didn't care I Did not care and Diane would come over every morning and grab the rats and throw them out in the trash I didn't care just get a mile out here. Oh Well, how are you today? I've I had a a tremendously busy day.

I had to go 48 miles away Be there meet somebody for five minutes turn around and drive 48 miles back I mean these are some of these business things you have to be there in person and that was one of those and so That's what I did and that wore me out You know that just like literally then I went and got Diane and I went out and you know We went to the grocery store. We you know went to get her car serviced. We buzzed around and we had fun So I'm grateful. I'm so grateful that I have Diane in my life second of three wives favorite of all of them Yeah, I'm of all of them.

She's my favorite although number one who is in second place is a pretty damn nice woman I mean, you know, she gave me Tyler and Kyle She's fabulous actually and she has two daughters with her husband Perry who she's been married to for like, I don't know 28 29 maybe 30 years by now, who knows but you know wonderful wonderful person I want to know what is plugged into my wall over there. It looks like some kind of a Wi-Fi thingy I didn't do this. I don't I don't do things like this. So why is that here?

I have really good Wi-Fi. Why is that here? That's bothering me. I don't know anyway What do I want to say today to you?

What is my message for you on this Thursday? Which you're getting very late my message to you is to be grateful for all of the tiny little things that happen in life Such as I wonder if Adriana is going to use that pan to cook in ever again I would throw the pie in the pan away myself, but I don't think she's gonna wash it up real good And she's a fabulous cook to by the way Adriana is just wonderful and she bakes really well Also, sorry for the rambling on podcast today. I just need to like Calm myself down and as soon as I'm done with this one I'm gonna record the Friday podcast because tomorrow I gotta go out in the morning do a few things and then tomorrow night We have our Secret Men's Club that I go to once a month I can't tell you anything about it. You know why because it's secret.

It's not really that bad It's just a really great bunch of guys and we don't let girls we have a sign no girls allowed I used to have a treehouse like anyone never mind. I have a great day everybody I hope you never get a rat in your house, and if you do I mean I was ready to move I was ready to sell the house tonight who wants to buy the house, you know, come I'd see you tomorrow.
