OH: Colorado Has Some of the BEST Players in all of College Football

Kevin Borba walks through his ballots and candidly assesses just how overlooked this team might be, spotlighting wideout Danny Scudero—who led the entire country in receiving yards last year—and tackling machine Gideon Lampron, whose journey from Dayton to Bowling Green now positions him as a defensive catalyst. Add in the freakish versatility of Boo Carter and it’s clear: the Buffs’ best don’t just stack up, they stand out. Roster shakeups and under-the-radar transfer additions fuel optimism, but skepticism persists following last season’s rocky results. Will dynamic newcomers like DeAndre Moore or physical safety Randon Fontanet grab a Top 100 spot, or will national pundits continue to look past Boulder’s retooled roster? Kevin Borba also tackles the media’s fraught fascination with Coach Prime—questioning whether critics are too quick to overlook staff upgrades and culture changes while preparing to pounce at any sign of struggle. With a brutal schedule and bowl eligibility in sight, the Buffs are fighting not just for wins, but for national respect. Are Danny Scudero and company primed for individual honors? Can Colorado silence doubters and move from lightning rod to legit contender? As the Top 100 debates rage on, Boulder is once again the center of the college football conversation.
