Oh How Much He Loves Us - Experiencing Jesus

from Victory Freedom Centre · host Louis Boucher

The big problem today is that most know about Jesus but not so many know Jesus and what he came to earth for. He came as a representative of God to show us who God really is and how much he loves us. John 1 tells us that Jesus is the creator of everything we see, and that he came to earth the restore unto us the life we lost to sin. The life in question is the intimacy we were created to have with God intimacy we lost because of the curse of the law of sin and death. Jesus came to step in as mediator between humanity and God to offer us salvation or reconciliation with God and to enrobe us with the white robe of righteousness, to give us the righteousness we need to have to be intimate with God. Jesus refers to this transformation, this reconciliation as being born again, being renewed, as rising from death and to being reconciled with God. Its a transformation that will take place within our heart transforming us into a new creation in the image of God. Ever one seeks for eternal life, Jesus in John 17:3 describes eternal life as being reconciled with God as becoming one with God through him.
