Ohio Player with Heart: Luella Burkholder

Luella Burkholder was chosen as a Beck's Player with Heart for her commitment and passion on and off the court. In school, Luella participates in Volleyball, Basketball, National Honor Society, FFA, Pep Club, Student Government, Big Brother Big Sister, Science Club, and SADD. What she loves most about these activities is spending time with her best friends. In her community, Luella is involved in the Republic Rowdy Rednecks 4H Club, Attica Jr. Fairboard, and St. Jacob’s UCC. To her, agriculture means putting others before yourself. It means working hard to be successful in an industry that is vital to the country and world. She believes that oftentimes, the dedication and hard work go unnoticed, but that is because agriculturalists understand the importance of the industry.
