It was a very sloppy game. For the most part, we saw the best and worst or the worst and worst of both of these quarterbacks. But Will Howard made a play, the coach on the sideline. Oh, see made a great call on fourth and four, whatever it was to break with Howard on a QB power play of the middle, which he would have scored on if it didn't then tripping in.
You saw, ooh, go down and everybody's criticizing the toss play. And then of course the fumble. I was happy for Jack Sawyer to get that fumble scoop and score. That was dope, considering that because he really wanted that Michigan win.
But at the end of the day, if they go and win this national title and that him selling the game off that play, I think he'll take that over the Michigan win. But overall, man, it was, I think you've got to count their blessings a little bit. They've fumbled away a lot of possessions early. But they found a way in Manchester to win it.
So in their own face, Notre Dame, what do you guys think about the game? Kyle, if you might just go ahead. Yeah, I'm working. Can you hear me?

I thought it looked like Ohio State was about to run away with early. And but they kind of settled down. And those penalties, I think that you can say what you want about the penalty. The penalty was kind of both ways.
But I think it broke up the momentum that both teams were trying to get offensively. And they just get there was just too much overcome. I think that Ohio, the screen call and the touchdown that Ohio State scored right before half. I mean, that was huge because in that type of situation, all you're looking for is, and I think one of the guys I think might have been Herb Street that made a call said that, generally speaking in Europe in a two minute situation like that, you got, I think it was less than a minute left.
You want to run a draw or screen something to see what you're going to get on first out. If you get something big on first out, then you press the ball up the field trying to get a, at least get a field go range. But for that one, a pop for a touchdown was crazy. And I don't really know if Texas rebounded like they probably wanted to.
But they come out in the second half and start a second half and get a turnover for Will Howard, I think that was big. But it was a good game, man. I was surprised. I thought it looked like Ohio State was going to run away with early.
I didn't have a dog in the fight. My damn Ohio State, so I'm not going to say I was rooting for him, but I don't want to hear his mouth. So it's so you're in the fight, Ohio State, when I know he's happy tonight. But it was a good game.
And I think Texas played as well as they, up until the last few minutes, I think Texas played well. And the play call, I'm interested to listen to the post game press conference and ask when they asked Sarkeesian what was on his mind as far as like going into those plays. Because if you remember that last drive, they threw the ball every play. I don't think they had one running play at all.
And then to get down there on first and goal, I get it. Yeah, you're going to try to run Adam. But I mean, you're better off running at Ohio State than trying to run outside. Running outside against him, they moved really well from side to side.
So that tall sweep was terrible. And then the sack, I can't blame you. It was because I tackled it in block anybody. He didn't even touch that guy.
And the scoop was going out with the game. But I thought it was a pretty good game. And I mean, it was much like last night, it was entertaining. It kept us up.
And I thought we had a pretty good show. So hopefully on January 20, we get just as good a game. That game was, boy, to be in Ohio State fan, your heart was no hard pressure must be crazy because they easily could have lost that game. They probably should have lost.
I keep telling people, if Arch Manning was in that game, if he was starting for Texas, they would have won that game. Because particularly, it was interesting that they brought him in for that really, actually, key fourth down play. If that didn't go that way, then we could talk about a whole different type of ball game. Because Ohio State should have blown this Texas team out from the jump.
How you talk about it early? But that goal line that ended up being a whole turnover, you switched the whole point system just based off that whole red zone coverage. And it's just like, how can you get two penalties, kid, to put you at the end or half the one? And if I told you Texas is going to be at the one-yard line and they got four tries, do you think the Ohio State not only would stop them and score a touchdown?

Will Howard goes out and throws an interception because you can see a lot back and dropping back.

I can figure that out. You rarely have two plays where you're running back at that open, getting it upside down fast, but they pulled it off. It was the same route. It was a wheel route basically.
Yeah. But for me, going back to Will Howard, he played like Peyton Manning in the playoffs. We talked about number 18, but like he was itching to throw a pick this whole game. I was like, it looks like a dart when we watched the highlights early in the game.
He had that pass with a linebacker, the same thing where the outside the end of the line, he pretended like he was going to rush, but then he pulled back and he caught any of trying to get a pick. But it went through to do his hands and they caught it. And that's how they scored on that first drive. But like he was just throwing it around and everything was hitting out.
He threw it to the tight end across the middle. The tight end even though he caught the ball. He was like, oh, shit, I got a ball. He was going.
So to me, like you see, I bring it up because you see how conservative they got right after that pick. They started running the ball. They started doing short things and dumb balls. And then he kind of started getting his rhythm back.
But I don't know if this is maybe the toughest defensive he'll have to face moving forward, but Will Howard can look super like he can go from shine to shit quick. If you get some pressure on him or if he feel like he fucking up, because even the team want to pull him back in. Like honestly, as great as the talent is on this offensive roster, they don't really have really like a good power back. Like I know you people talk about Hendrickson, they're like, they're going to get this fast.
