Ohio State Lands Argentine Power Forward | Ohio State Buckeyes Basketball News

Ohio State just added a basketball beast: 21-year-old Argentine power forward Lee Aaliya, who brings elite European pro experience and national team pedigree to coach Jake Diebler’s loaded 2026-27 frontcourt. Standing 6’9” and packing 225 pounds, Aaliya averaged 18 points and nearly 10 rebounds last season in Spain while helping Argentina win medals on the international stage. His journey—from Argentina’s top clubs to UCAM Murcia—shows he’s ready for college hoops’ biggest stage. With a pro family legacy and a stacked roster ahead, OSU’s interior defense and scoring looks even more terrifying.
