Ohio State Transfers & New Addition | Ohio State Buckeyes Basketball News

Ohio State just added power forward Lee Aaliya, a ready-to-play pro from overseas who can slide into either the PF or C spot — perfect timing as the Buckeyes gear up for the season. Meanwhile, five former Buckeyes hit the transfer portal: Devin Royal (Villanova), Taison Chatman (Utah), Colin White, Gabe Cupps, and Mathieu Grujicic. Chatman’s move to Utah could be his breakout moment — projected to start at SG in a thin roster, he might easily average double digits in the Big 12. Royal, a Columbus native, is poised to thrive at Villanova, where he’ll likely be a key contributor, possibly averaging 12-15 PPG. These transfers are all about seizing opportunity — whether it’s a bigger role or a fresh start — as they aim to leave their mark in their final college year.
