The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers played a tough game in the 1st quarter, but Ryan Day's squad achieved victory after a 35-point 2nd quarter that included 2 rushing touchdowns by TreVeyon Henderson and Chip Trayanum, and 3 passing touchdowns by Kyle McCord. Ohio State has one of the best running back rooms in the country, and if their offensive line improves, I could see the Buckeyes eventually averaging 200-250 yards per game on the ground as I predicted in the preseason. Western Kentucky's air raid offense was held to 284 total yards and Ohio State's defense had 2 defensive touchdowns in the 2nd half. My reaction to this game is one of confidence.
