The central village green now features paths to a gazebo, spotlighting the American House Hotel, while a new restroom and beer garden are in the works. Historic touches include a 1920s soda fountain donated from a Cleveland pharmacy, installed beside its original wooden counter. Interpreters will still wear period costumes but chat more like themselves.
