In this video, Walker Reynolds shares details of an actual Oil and Gas SCADA System we are converting from Cygnet to Ignition. Because of the client's tight cutover schedule, they have opted to integrate 500 wells the traditional way with OPC-UA server and Poll-Response drivers from Kepware. Once this project is completed we will go back in and re-integrate the 500 wells using MQTT and #IIoT. This will provide a unique opportunity to compare and contrast the difference between industry 4.0 system integration and legacy Industry 3.0 way of doing things.
