Oilers make moves, reality TV, and the Black Parade

It's the Wednesday after the start of NHL free agency, which means a fresh episode of Better Lait Than Never is ready to recap what was another busy week in Edmonton. On today's podcast, I discussed the Oilers trading for Isaac Howard, coaching changes, a big music weekend, and delved into anything else I missed last week while I was away.I kicked off this week's podcast with a recap of everything I got up to last week while I was on holidays, including my trip to Seattle, the concerts I saw, the TV shows I watched, and a throwback to 2002 that's taken over my life. Turning the podcast to the Oilers, I looked at some of the moves and news that happened over the last week and wondered how much is still to come before the 2025-26 season kicks off in a few months. Seeing as the schedule dropped this week, the countdown to the new season is on, and I wondered how close to a finished product the Oilers are as we speak in mid-July.Finally, I wrapped up this week's episode of BLTN with a Righteous Sack Beating about Uber annoyances before wrapping up the podcast with another round of voicemails.
