Okay, no brakes on my car is probably an issue

Yesterday started off fine, I went to the office, then headed up to Schaumburg for a meeting. When I came out and got into my car and applied the brakes, it felt as if I had pushed the seat back a couple of notches due to how far I had to extend my foot on the brake pedal.Robert’s Substack is a reader-supported publication. I knew it may have something to do with brake fluid levels, so after work I swung by the auto store and bought the largest container of brake fluid. I started pouring it in and the reservoir was full.Shoot. I then booked an appointment for my car on Friday (this was Tuesday). It was the first day I could get in.If it were a cut brake line or master cylinder failure, brake fluid would have poured out. Maybe air got into the line or my brakes are so far gone that they need to be replaced.What does this mean?I’m stuck riding my motorcycle. Luckily the weather is dry. Of course, at night it will be cool, so I have THAT going for me :-D.Hopefully it’s nothing major as my car isn’t worth much as it is. I really don’t want to shop for a car this weekend. My goal was to make it to next year before ponying up for another used car.Oh well, not much I can do about it right now.Thanks for reading Robert’s Substack!
