Oklahoma’s Big Transfer Boost | Oklahoma Sooners Basketball News

Oklahoma’s basketball program just pulled off a major roster upgrade with the additions of guard B.J. Edwards and forward Duke Brennan—two seasoned transfers poised to turn things around. Edwards, a former SMU standout who nearly carried his team into the NCAA Tournament last year before injury sidelined him, brings elite scoring and defensive chops. Brennan, a Big East All-Star from Villanova, adds rebounding dominance and scoring punch. Together with a wave of new talent including Pop Isaacs, Tyler Hendricks, and big men Akoldah Gak and Yaak Yaak, Oklahoma is building for a serious 2026-27 run. Ranked fifth in the SEC transfer class, the Sooners are now projected as a 10-seed nationally—and Coach Moser has his work cut out proving this gamble pays off.
