OLD as Dirt

from I AM PASTOR DEB · host Pastor Deb

We Want To Hear From YOU!I want to give you a brand new perspective regarding those 3 words; old as dirt.Soil, sand, clay, and dust are all derivatives of dirt. If we were to take the time to analyze the uses of these things we would have to humble ourselves and admit that dirt is an incredibly marvelous and underrated commodity.Soil is the means by which sustenance is provided for grass, trees, shrubs, and all vegetation. So we see here that dirt, just like those proclaimed as old as dirt, has the ability to restore, sustain and add value to life.Did you know that sand contains an element called silica aka quartz?  This single element makes sand uniquely valuable, as the silica found in sand is needed to make products such as glass and it is also what makes sand an abrasive property, useful for traction on icy roads and railroads, and suitable for sandblasting. The applicable life lesson we can learn from sand is that this derivative of dirt can produce unimaginable creations to be used in unimaginable ways, while also being influential in derailing what could be detrimental when things become slippery and unpredictable. Then there is clay which has been proven toBalances & Combats Oily Skin. Soothes Itchy Skin and Rashes. ...Used for Internal Cleansing and Detoxifying. ...Aids Digestion. …Another life lesson to grasp is that “clay” is the derivative of dirt that manages to assist in protecting and restoring our most vulnerable parts while aiding in our digestion, actions, and reactions to our environment.Dirt is looked upon as worthless, insignificant, something to just trample on. We don’t revere “dirt” with the accolades we should.  Dirt has been around since the beginning of time. Read the story of creation in Genesis 1; first came heaven, then came earth aka dirt, the two most important components of God’s infrastructure. After creating heaven and earth everything else He God created was created to be committed to heaven and resourced from earth aka dirt. From the beginning, God shows how He valued dirt. As I went down the list and told you the value of soil, sand, and clay, I left out dust. Now allow me to tell you about the value of dust.Genesis 2:7 scripture reads, “Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature”.  The creator of all things took dust, a derivative of dirt, when decided to create the one single thing He desired to be in His own image.  God took dust to create what He “purposed”.  God took dust to bring Him glory. He used dust to form and shape mankind and then breathed into it, then pronounced what he created with dust and his breath to give Him praise. So you are all of a certain age out there, when someone wants to discount your worth by referring to you as being as old as dirt, thank them. Then ask “What is the valued commodity of the substance of your being”.Say what you want to say, I am proud of my dirt-infused heritage.Support the showwww.BibleDeliverance.org
