Old Dominion Loses to Southern Miss, Heads to Marshall

Old Dominions mens basketball team suffered a tough road loss to Southern Miss, 86-81, despite a strong first half performance. The Monarchs, led by KC Shaw (18 points), Jordan Battle (17 points, perfect from the line), and LJ Thomas (15 points, 6 rebounds), struggled with defense and turnovers in the second half. Despite solid shooting and bench production, they were outrebounded and gave up too many points in the paint and on fast breaks. The Monarchs aim to bounce back against Marshall this Tuesday.
