Let’s have a realistic and modern conversation about sexism and ageism in the rap music industry. From the objectification and sexualization of women in lyrics and music videos to the marginalization of older artists, these forms of discrimination manifest themselves in several ways throughout the industry. In this episode, my guest, Remar Tally and I discuss the impact of this discrimination on artists and fans alike, and the ways in which we can work to create a more inclusive and diverse space for all artists.
