Summary

President Trump has declared a goal of colonizing Mars. Elon Musk has been a big advocate of this and it is obvious that he is pushing President Trump. Colonizing Mars is essentially a reset button on society and having a clean slate means even the monetary system can be created from scratch. In this episode we explore a potential architecture for that monetary system and Bitcoin provides an excellent base. Note: I mention that the maximum round-trip message to Mars takes about 20 minutes. I misspoke and that number is actually 40-42 minutes.
