Greetings greetings. Welcome to another episode of Truth to Power. I am your host, Tyress McNight. And tonight I want to talk about all people battle.
Now, if we're gonna, by the way, again, we'll be back this week, on the other podcast. We will be back this week. I decided to give us some time off, you know, just for personal reasons and to clear some things up and get some things together. We will be back this week and we will be discussing part of what I'm discussing tonight.
But, you know, things always happen on social media from here. On Facebook, I posted this YouTube video about this guy who has been, who was, taking care of a daughter for three years, that wasn't his. Now, many of you may, I mean, I haven't seen this video, but go look it up, it's on YouTube. And what I said was, you see guys, this is why you should always get a DNA test, right?
But people living in today's day in world, today's day in society, they understand what I was trying to convey. However, here comes an old dude, resisting the urge to say old nigga, but here comes the old dude, old black man, old, old, or black man, going, well, if you're not this person, then you don't need a DNA test. Oh, okay, you gotta trust, verify before you take off the clothes, you don't listen to me. And then in turn, that's when I saw what the real problem was.
In today's society, I must be honest and I got to be completely honest. We have a lot of old selves. We have a lot of old selves. We have a lot of old cows that think that just because they're older, that they're right.
They think that just because they're older, that they have more information, they know more to you. When in fact, they don't know shit. They do not know shit. And they expect people just to listen and to observe their information.
And then at the end of it all, you realize they don't really know shit. I'm not in the time of wasting business. There's a role to the generation. Y'all don't sit down and listen to the old people.
I listen to the old people because we're trying to go. I'm trying to get that. I'm trying to go. Okay.
Well, if you're older person or the gentleman, still making $12,000 an hour, I'm not trying to go to that fucking place. I've been in that place before. Can you show me how to elevate my game? Can you show me how to elevate my money?
And that's the problem with old people and old babble. They always, this is the difference between the elder and old person. An old person will complain and complain about what the new generation I'm doing. How their generation was better.
But they offer no solutions. Then we have no lessons to teach because they ain't this shit with their life. And they want to see you end up in the exact same place that they're in. They have no game, they ain't got shit.
They ain't goofy as fuck. They have no game. All they know is this is how I did it. I've been here for a long time.
So I must be right. Just because you've been on this earth longer than I have, it doesn't mean that you have more knowledge than me. As a matter of fact, just because you've been on this earth longer than most people, that doesn't even mean that you've been a freedom fighter or anything like that. You probably have been a college a whole fucker life.
Let's be real. We know that old college. A lot of them. And younger people and the younger generation, and I must say this, and I was kind of pausing to try to put away the same, but I don't know what else to say.
The younger generation is not obligated. Regardless of what you told by your parents and by the Bible, you are not obligated to sit there and listen to old people. You are not obligated to do that. You can dismiss them quickly because most of the time they ain't saying shit.
They just talking in Babylon. What's the name time? That's particularly gentleman that I was conversing with over Facebook. This guy said, Hey, man, y'all, you know, you just like, I'll just be listening to me.
Why would we listen to you? Well, that's why the generation in the way that it is. But don't take some. And let me tell you all the older people about the younger generation.
One thing is this, stop acting like your shit on stage and your generation didn't do any type of nefarious activities, any type of degenerate activities, because the younger generation had to get it from somewhere. Okay. The generation wasn't better. You just better hide it.
Another thing is this, with older people, you have to have patience and understanding with the younger generation when you're teaching. Or when you're trying to put knowledge on them. You can't just expect them to get it just then and there. Because a lot of them come from broken holes and things of that nature.
Me, when I tell certain things or when I do certain things, it's really meant for a certain group of audience. It's really meant for older people because older people shouldn't be babysat. It should be told firmly that this is what you need to do. I shouldn't have to tell you, Hey, travel, turn the house down road, then turn the door off slightly enough, do the speed limit on the rest of the shit.
You should know the speed limit. You should know the problem is sitting on light. You should know certain things. You know what I'm saying?
You give them a saying? I should have to hold your hand in every direction. However, with this generation, somebody is generating you and they're coming up and they want to learn, they have to hear the learn. Do not, and our people do not come in with the attitude that you know everything because you know.
Nobody knows everything. That's the difference between somebody that has an ego and somebody that lets the ego go and understand that they still have learning to do. Me, myself, from constantly reading books and constantly learning, constantly doing research, constantly looking at documentaries, constantly trying to learn new things. And when I talk to the youth officials, when I talk to the youth officials, but as I went on and I was telling them, I was like, dude, I just had to suspect the white supremacist on my page talking crazy.
You did, if you really started, then you would have came, you would have said something. I was talking about eradicating white supremacy and they didn't talk about something, oh, they said, you want to say something, but what? You want to say something then? But no, what you did, you chose to go and show the city, you go and say, oh, I didn't see that.
Oh, but you saw this post. And there's about to be a major incident from me, especially mentally, because I got to get away from certain people. I found that some people follow me just to argue with me. They don't follow me to try to, you know, upgrade, try to help me upgrade, or help me in any type of way.
And as a matter of fact, if you're listening to this, I probably have helped us as one way or the other, in some capacity. But I'm realizing that the people that I built me up in, they don't have the same energy towards me. It's a very minute, a very minute circle that I have and a very minute people that really, really get to know me and they really know me. But I found that some people just follow me just to argue with me.
And those old people, most times old people, old people that stuck their ways don't think they could be told anything, even though they haven't been working, tell the whole person about voting, right? Well, people died for you to go to the polls and vote. No, they didn't. People died so I could be free.
Now I convinced that I could be free. I'm not going to be the king died so I could be free. Neither have us, so on and so forth. They fought for us to be free and have to be victims of white supremacy.
You coward niggas, you have the nerve to come right here, and judge the younger generation, but the younger generation out there and the streets make things happen. Now you're a bitch, I'm sitting at home. You're a bitch, I'm sitting at home. And your arms is going to vote for Biden, who is the suspected white supremacist?
So the cactus got their heart. Then vowed his whole life. And we got some old people talking about some vote going to change something. Vote make on change shit.
These young people out in the streets getting shit done because they put me in work, not because they listen to your old ass. I give you another example. I was once working at this place. And you know I grew up old school.
Now, remember she was born in 1913. I grew up in old school home. My grandmother said, you know, we're older women, we're male, we're older men with sir. And that's how I carry myself out to everybody with respect and to disrespect me.
But it's all the money, we have all the respect and the world. And if you know me personally, you know this story. We have all the respect and the world. And the job.
And she just kept on constant disrespecting me, constantly going and shot at me. So I said, okay, I just leave you alone. You know, we ain't got to get along, that's cool. For no reason at all.
I had a bad shit because I wasn't taking her advice on what I want to do with my romantic life. You know what I'm saying? I said, okay, cool. So one day, where I work, and you know, I was in one of those moves.
And this was one of the studies where I didn't curse. This was around the time where it was Sundays and I didn't curse on Sundays. This is when I was really into Christian identity there. Right?
So there's one I walk with somebody and she said, I mean, I can't talk to you. I said, no, but you can't do a situation all the way down. She said, what? I said, you heard me, you bitch.
I said, sit your old ass down and go to your seat. Because at that point, I was fed up. And I realized something at that point. Something clicked in me at that point.
So you might be listening to this old, no disrespectful. But you are not able to get into disrespect from anybody. If I give you respect, regardless of your age, respect does not have age restrictions. Either you can read yourself or I will correct you.
But we got too many old people that were young cowards and they grew into old people and they played no skin in the game, they played no work in. And then they had the murder criticized the younger generation for not one of the same pick balls that they fell into. If I see that the role Jew went down there to dead end, what the fuck would I drive down their role? What the fuck would I listen to you?
I said, well, you got an elder. The elder is God the younger generation. The older people that you respect. The people that I tell you how to elevate your life.
The people that got some wisdom for you. That's somebody that's just... Oh, I owe them the youth, so I must be correct because you know I'm older. You sound dumb.
And a lot of you probably won't like this broadcast. I don't know if you want to like this broadcast, but damn it, it's the truth. And that's probably why you guys won't like it. It's the truth.
We give too many old people respect that they don't deserve what they haven't earned. And a lot of you have grown up in churches where you have the neighborhood right here, get up and speak. And then you have to be done talking about it. You let this crack here speak.
And then another thing about what a people do. A lot of people, what they like to do is, all the people, they like the insecurity show. Now I have never thrown my master's agreement in the body face anything like that because I don't feel like it really takes that much to where we're coming again and again to get another rest of the time. Where it does take a certain amount of discipline, a certain amount of grit, I will say that.
But for the most part, I don't really think that it takes that much, you know, it runs away from college. And I think it takes a lot of years having your own business and having it run successful for years and years and be consistent with the success over and over and over and over again. But I don't really put anything in my space. But as old people start talking, you disagree with them.
First thing is, you've supported me because you got a master's. You're like an insecurity show. You're like an insecurity show. I never said that.
You said that. And a lot of you all work with somebody like that or you know somebody like that. Some old person that ain't got nothing for you but criticism. Oh, this young generation, this young generation, this young generation, this young generation Don't you know that I know of effect.
I don't have witnesses personally. Don't you know of business people criticize young women for having babies out of their life and these same women turn around and have babies only husbands, that wasn't theirs. And they older, they were older people. Don't you know of business that, don't you know of business that, uh, business people criticizing, you know, women for being quote unquote loose but they didn't come around and fucking get into church.
Don't you know of business that, that's seen that personally. You want to respect somebody like that? You want to respect the whole person? No, you respect your elders.
You respect people that got denied it. You got, you respect people that have more than criticism for you. You respect people that have some gain for you. They can help you elevate your life.
They can tell you something about life. That's about just because they're old. And it's over there. They all see on my Facebook page.
Shout out to Mr. Hurt. Respect Mr. Hurt.
He's an elder. Mr. Hurt, he gave me what criticism, then he come back and say, hey, but this is what you could do. They're trying to change that.
This is what I would do, you know, man. I've been through that, you know, and you know, I want you to go through that again. I want you to go through that. So this is what I would do, y'all, man.
We have those type of conversations. Respect Mr. Hurt, completely. He's an elder.
Don't respect old people. Even, let me say this, I think we kind of like in the same age group, but he's going to show before Mr. D. Sean.
Respect him. Give me what some criticism about this. I'm going to say this is what I would do. I would go about doing it this way.
People that have more criticism for you. People that got something for you. Other than criticism. People that got information.
Mr. D. Sean, for the first time, hey, this time you're starting to get to get to the start. This time you get to get to the start.
This time you get to the start. It's not that hard. It's something to do. You go, who's the mistake of signing up to your thing.
Didn't know it. Well, he went up there. He helped me out. Didn't they?
Getting some information, getting some gain. That's an elder. That's a future elder. That's somebody you could respect.
That's the old person that got criticism. When they say a bad boy, when they say a whole bunch of nothing, they have no solutions for the generation. That's why they don't respect you. That is why they don't respect you.
That is why they shouldn't respect you. You earn a generation of respect. You owe people. Now that'll be the conclusion of today's episode of Truth to Power.
I want to thank you guys for joining me tonight. As always, on Amazon Prime, New Orleans Politics is streaming as we speak. Very, very documentary on my system myself. Thank you all for joining me.
