In this special Halloween episode of Casual Chats, Patricia and special guest That Long Haired Creepy Guy discuss about the 2019 Nickelodeon miniseries Are You Afraid of the Dark? based on the 1991 anthology series of the same name. The story talks about a young teenage girl named Rachel who recently moved to a small town in Oregon called Argento where she keeps having nightmares about a carnival and a creepy showman named Mr. Tophat. When she draws him during class, a student named Graham took a picture of it and shares it with his friends inspiring them to initiate a few tests if she's worthy to join their group called The Midnight Society.
