Ole Miss Coach Sounds Alarm After Close Win | Louisville Football News

Ole Miss coach Pete Golding warns his team that a hard-fought, shaky win over Louisville won’t cut it — the defense crumbled in the second half, forcing a last-second field goal. He’s demanding accountability, stressing that without honest film study, they’ll need a loss to wake up. Facing a tough opponent, Golding called it a “heavyweight fight” where Ole Miss got battered and didn’t always respond — but he’s pushing for resilience, starting with himself. With conference play looming and credibility on the line, Golding is setting a high bar: fix the flaws now or risk bigger trouble later.
