Oliver Twist Chapter 9

In which we are introduced to a curious morning at the old gentleman's abode, where Oliver awakens to the sight of glittering trinkets and a peculiar game that teaches nimbleness of hand. Amidst lively company and gentle instruction, Oliver begins to learn the subtle arts of the gentleman's hopeful pupils, under the watchful and often changing demeanour of their singular protector.
