Throughout 2019, bizarre classified ads started to appear in the Virginia-based Rappahannock Record, which were centered around a cold case four decades in the making.Olivia Thorndike had been a 24-year-old young woman living in Henrico County, whose life came to a sudden and tragic end in November of 1981. While detectives and prosecutors had their suspicions about a couple of men in Olivia's orbit, they were never able to build a convincing case against either. Nearly forty years later, Olivia's case remains unsolved, but some people continue to search for justice (those that knew Olivia, and those that never had the chance). Tragically, that means that there's not a lot of information out there about Olivia, but I've been able to learn a lot about the two violent men that revolved around her in the weeks and months before her death...
