Ollie Howell

This week we chat to jazz drummer and composer for TV & film, Ollie Howell. His work has been heard all over the world at film festivals and on television, with his solo albums receiving critical acclaim. A protégé of Quincy Jones (yes, that one), Ollie is also the only ever jazz recipient of a prestigious Sky Academy Arts Scholarship and an Ambassador for the Youth Music charity. Ollie's introduction to jazz Spotify playlist. We also get to the bottom of Ciaran's thoughts on The Beatles in our feature 'Here, I made you a mix tape, because you're wrong'. A Beatles Mixtape for Ciaran. Get in touch with the show: [email protected] Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
