Melting Pot (360 Degree) is a special series where we will revisit 5 episodes from 5 different series curated by Melting Pot in the past 1 year.From artists to authors, our journey has witnessed the presence of some very talented professionals across the world and we hope to revisit them with YOU through our new series, Melting Pot (360 degree). Omar Masroor is owner and founder of the Aracosia group that serves authentic Afghan cuisine inspired by his roots in The District of Columbia, USA.The group has three award-winning Afghan restaurants in the D.C. area. Omar is proud to serve up old family recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. They use quality ingredients and an array of spices and fresh herbs, Afghan Bistro, Bistro Aracosia and Aracosia McLean have something for everyone's taste.Omar believes in providing traditional Afghan hospitality, educating and promoting the food and culture of his people. The three restaurants give the diners an opportunity to get a glimpse of the era in Afghanistan which is now sadly forgotten. "The universe speaks to us through its amazing creations.
